How do you review games?
Every reviewer plays through at least the main campaign before writing anything. For longer RPGs that means 40-60 hours minimum. We test on the platform it was primarily designed for, plus PC where applicable. Scores are locked before publication and can’t be changed after a game’s PR team contacts us.
What types of games do you review?
We cover all new releases from AAA blockbusters to indie gems across PC, consoles, and emerging platforms to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Do you accept paid reviews?
No, NextGenCritic adheres to strict guidelines ensuring absolute transparency; we don’t accept payments or incentives for review scores.
How often do you publish reviews?
We align our reviews with major industry release schedules, ensuring timely insights for our readers as new games launch.
